FAQ How do I sign-up for a PhxFax fax number? Click on "Sign Up Now" on the Home page of www.phxfax.com. Enter in your user and billing information. How will I know if my registration completed successfully? After filling out all the required information, click "Sign Me Up". A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you signed up with. Click on the link to finish confirming your account. The link will take you to the PhxFax web site where you will need to set a password for your account. What format does my fax come in? Your faxes will come as a .pdf file. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your pc to view the attachments. Click on the Adobe Acrobat Reader link on our "Downloads" page. The link will take you to the Adobe web site; follow the steps to download Adobe reader. If I change my email attach to my fax number, does my login id change to the new email address? No ... your login id for your online account will stay the same even if you change the email address your fax number is going to. Can I change the email address that I log into the web site with? Yes ... log into the PhxFax web site, click on My Account, and update the "Email Address" and "Confirm Email" boxes with the new email address you would like to log in with. Then click on "Save" at the bottom. Just remember that the next time you login, you will need to use this new email address to gain access to your account. Can I change my login id to something other than another email address? No ... you have to use an email address as your login id. Can I assign more than one email address to my PhxFax number? Yes ... you can assign up to 25 email addresses to a single PhxFax number. I have multiple email addresses to receive faxes, which one do I use to login? You use your primary email address. This is the one that you have entered in the "User Info" when you first sign up. How do I change my primary email address? To change the email address of your account (the one used when logging in on-line), just click on "My Account" and put in your new email address. Just remember that the next time you login, you will need to use this new email address to gain access to your account. Is there a limit to the number of pages I can receive a month to my PhxFax number? You can receive up to 1000 pages per month. That is 5 times more than other companies. Any additional pages over the initial 1000 are only 1 cent per page. Other companies charge up to 10 cents per additional page. Is there a limit to the number of pages per fax I receive? No ... there is no limit to the number of pages per fax you can receive. 1 page, 5 pages, 30 pages ... whatever you need! Does my computer have to be "logged in" for me to receive faxes? No ... your fax number is never busy, always on. The faxes are received at your email address so they will be waiting there when you login. Is there a limit to the number of PhxFax numbers I can have? No ... you can sign up for as many PhxFax numbers as you need. What is the "Share my number" link on the web site? The "Share my number" allows you to notify your friends and family of your new fax number. You enter the email addresses of friends and family that you want to inform of your new fax number. If you have multiple fax numbers, choose the number from the drop down that you are referring to. An email will be sent out to each individual address informing them of your new number. I would like to notify a group of friends and family, but I don't want to "share" people's email addresses with everyone else on my list. PhxFax understands your concern for your friends' and family's privacy. Each "notify email" is sent out individually, so no one will see anyone else's email address. How do I change my password? You can change your password by logging in and going to "My Account" page. Type your new password at the bottom left in the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields. Please remember to click on "Save" when you are finished. Adding/Removing Email Addresses, fax numbers How do I add / remove an email address to my existing fax number? Once logged in, click on Edit of the number you want to edit. At the right of the screen you can add an email address by typing in the email address and clicking the "Add Email" button. To remove an email address, click the "Remove" button next to the email address you want to remove. How do I add another number to my existing PhxFax account? To add an additional number(s) to your existing PhxFax account, Click on "My Numbers". At the bottom of the screen, check the box to accept the "Terms of Agreement", enter a promotional code in the Promo Code box (if you have one), and click "Get Another Number". If I remove all numbers from my account, will my PhxFax account be cancelled? No ... if you remove all numbers from your account, your account will still be active. You will NOT be charged any fees come the next billing month. To deactivate your account, please email us at info@phxfax.com to deactivate your account. Billing How will I be billed? All automated billing occurs on the 1st of the month for that month. Before the 20th: If you sign-up for a number before the 20th of the month, your credit card will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current month. The next billing will be on the 1st of the next month. Example: Sign-up date 9/14/06. You will be charged the pro-rated amount for the remainder of September. Your next billing will occur on 10/01/06. After the 20th: If you sign-up for a number after the 20th of the month, your credit card will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the month, plus the full amount for the next month. The next billing will be on the 1st of the following month. Example: Sign-up date 9/28/06. You will be charged the pro-rated amt for the remainder of September, plus the amount for October. Your next billing will occur on 11/01/06. If I remove a number(s) in the middle of the month, will I be reimbursed a pro-rated amount for the remainder of that month? No ... if you remove a number(s) in the middle of the month, your credit card will not be reimbursed for the remainder of the month. What entry should I expect to see on my credit card statement? The charge on your credit card will show from "Singo Solution". Singo Solution, Inc is the owner of PhxFax. What payment methods does PhxFax accept? PhxFax accepts MasterCard and VISA only through our secure web site www.PhxFax.com. Will the credit card I originally used to sign-up with be used for each billing cycle? Yes ... the credit card number provided when you initially signed-up for PhxFax will be used for the automatic billing at the beginning of every month. What if the credit card I used when initially signing-up is no longer valid when the next billing cycle processes? It is your responsibility to make sure your account is updated with the most current billing information. If the credit card used when you initially signed-up is no longer valid at the time of the billing cycle, and we receive an error when trying to process your card, then your fax number will be cancelled. To re-sign up, you will need to sign into your account and request a new number. What if I want to use a different credit card for future billing; not the one I used when initially signing-up? It is your responsibility to make sure your account is updated with the most current billing information. If you want to use a different credit card for future billing, you must log into your account online and update your billing information. How do I update my billing information on my account? To use a different credit card for future billing, you will need to sign into your account, click on "My Account", and update your billing information at the right of the screen. Are all my fax numbers tied to a promotional code if I signed up my original number using a promotional code? No ... only the numbers you signed up using a promotional code will be tied to those codes. If you signed up a number without using a promotional code, that number will be billed at the full amount. If I sign-up using a promotional code, will my number always be billed at that promotional price? No ... the promotional price will only be good until the expiration date of the promotional code. After the promotional code expires your fax number will be billed at the full price. Business Accounts Do you offer a multi-purchase discount? Yes, we do offer promotions and multi-purchase discounts. For companies w/ more than 20 direct lines, we also offer an account rep to handle any questions/problems you might have. As you can tell, our prices are almost half the amount of efax. To get your own account rep, just provide details to info@phxfax.com. Is it possible to get a fixed price on a toll-free line? Since we pay by the minute, our cost goes up as your use goes up. So we prefer to do it by the page. However, if you expect a lot of volume on the toll-free numbers, we are flexible and would certainly be willing to provide huge discounts. Basically, we can set it up like a cell phone plan - you tell us how many pages to expect - we price it based on the volume commitment.
As an example, if you sign up for the 1,000 page limit, you would only be charged an extra $35. Should you go over 1,000 pages, it would be priced at the normal 5 cents per page. How do your customers sign up? Most register and pay via the website. However, for our larger clients, we prefer that you contact us via info@phxfax.com so that an account rep can handle your preferences personally. What forms of payment do you accept? Via Website - only Master Card and Visa. However, for our larger clients, we can set up a regular monthly invoicing, automatic payments, etc, etc. This is, once again, done by an account rep. How do you process those payments? If done on Website, it's done automatically based on the information provided. Is there a term agreement in place when you signup? No - cancel any time. When you sign up, the max you pay is for that month. How long have you been in business? Singo Solution has been around for two years - but the technology has been used in-house for as long as 7 years. So everything is well proven well before we offer it to the general public. We also make it a point to build redundant servers well before we would ever sell it on the general market. How many customers do you currently have? We have close to 100 business accounts. In addition, we do have plans to take this nationwide (offering out-of-state numbers) in about 4 months. This hasn't been a huge push for us as we do have a lot of projects not related to PhxFax. However, if we do see a need to push beyond the Phoenix Market, it certainly wouldn't be difficult. |
